In what ways can you use Lavender? Oh my! The lists of uses are as varied as the people who use it! A few great websites listing the uses:
In my own house, I have put this oil to a number of positive uses.
I put 2 drops in a gel cap with 2 drops Peppermint and 2 drops Lemon and use it to fight allergies. In Florida, where it seems like living things bloom all year round, an allergy pill that works around the clock, every season (yes, we DO have seasons - some people call them Tree Pollen, Ragweed, Grass, and Flowers).
I have used Lavender on fire any bites. One drop stops the sting and itch from those nasty critters.
I have used it stop hiccups. Yes, hiccups. Smelling Lavender stops hiccups. Weird but true. I got this tip from The Healer Girl (she is the reason I started using oils).
I have used Lavender to stop bleeding from cat scratches.
I use Lavender in a roller bottle mix that I put on my feet every night to help me sleep.
I have used it in my skin care oil.
I have used it in my bath sugar scrub.
I have added it to my vinegar mix for cleaning our kitchen counters (helps knock out some of the vinegar smell, plus it adds an extra anti-bacterial property.)
I have passed along samples and roller bottle mixes to friends and family for small children who have allergies and/or need sleep relief.
So many positive uses and benefits to Lavender, why not try it yourself and see what you can benefit from it. For friends and family who have asked what to start with, I always suggest the Intro Trio pack - it consists of 5ml bottles of Lavender, Peppermint, and Lemon.
